... From Hercules, CA, USA. She is passionate about science, and chemistry is her favorite class. As president of her school´s Medical Club, she raises funds to donate to research and bring awareness about medicine to her peers. She loves biking in her free time, and she enjoys exploring hidden trails in her city. She has also played on her school badminton team for three years. Sport has taught her a lot about confidence and resilience. Plus it's fun!
Amogh Rao
...From Cary, NC, USA. Amogh is an 11th grade student. His interests include piano, science, volunteering, and video editing. He is extremely passionate about public health and medicine, and ensuring equality of medical access across the world. He is currently involved in a cardiology research internship with the American College of Cardiology where he researches important topics in cardiothoracic diseases. Through his experience in working with public health officials in his state, he is excited to work to create positive, lasting changes in the world.

...From Boxford, MA, USA. Ryan enjoys tennis and performing in musical ensembles on the saxophone and piano. In his free time, he enjoys supporting local community programs and taking road trips throughout New England. He is ardent about equal access to education resources. At school, he plays in the band and competes with the Math Team and STEM Club.

...From Singapore. Wei Wen loves fashion design, cooking and acting. She has a strong interest in social justice and wants to do her part in helping the poor. She is also interested in a future in foreign service. She is part of a scholarship programme where she learns about both Western and Eastern cultures!

...From Shanghai, China. Sydney loves psychology and photography. She is a photographer at the school television center, a leader of several school projects, and vice leader in a China Thinks Big project. She is deeply interested in sociology and social entrepreneurship.

She is passionate about a myriad of causes and strives to make an impact, be it raising funds, holding interesting conversations, or raising awareness online. Cheng Rui (Emma) has interests in studying public policy and international relations, but she also wants to explore the frontiers of social entrepreneurship in the future. She is the current Editor-in-Chief of her school newspaper, founder of Period.@Beijing, and is also a high school fellow for the East Coast Asian American Student Union. In her free time, she enjoys reading historical fiction and watching sappy movies.

Louis enjoys and is good at studying economics. He looks forward to building connections through sports, education, and economic development for the underadvantaged groups.
Ping (Simon) He 何平
... From Haikou, China. Simon is a junior student at Haikou High School, Hainan. This is the second time for him to join our Gendream family. He loves robot combat competitions. In 2019, he had a great experience building and deploying his own battle robot during a competition at the University of Toronto. Simon is passionate about electronic dance music and rap music. The rhythms and lyrics of the music can express his mood and feelings. He also enjoys soccer. In 7 years of playing, soccer continues to teach him the importance of teamwork, communication, and leadership.

...From Changchun China. Shang is keen to play basketball and other sports. He has also been the Basketball Club's leader for four years. His long history of playing basketball has brought him patience and persistence, which are the qualities he going to use in analyzing global issues. Currently, Shang is also the President of the Student Union, and he aims to do his part to serve the community.

...From Changchun, China. Spring, whose name means dynamic and energetic, is amicable, audacious, and honest. She also likes to think of herself as humorous and easygoing. She likes fencing, reading, and playing the flute, all of which makes her feel full of energy.
Amaris Xie 谢君楠
... From Hangzhou, China. Amaris enjoys reading, traveling and playing sports. She is the leader of a club in the school, and under her leadership, the club is rated the first in school. She also organizes many volunteer activities, such as taking care of the elderly in welfare homes and blood donation consultations. She is very interested in people's psychological states, and most recently, she is interested in studying peer pressure because she has found that it affects so many people in her community.

...From Toronto, ON, Canada. Justina loves dancing, horse-riding and golfing. In addition to her various interests, she is also passionate about psychology and sociology. She used to be an assistant teacher for children who had congenital intellectual disabilities. Now she is the student council president and organizes and plans many public welfare activities to help society.
Hantian (Eric) Zhang 张翰天
...From Shanghai, China. Eric loves the sciences, especially biology and chemistry, as well as politics. He has self-studied many chemistry courses in his spare time, which endowed him with a strong spirit of persistence and curiosity. Using his knowledge, he is now an active member in the school chemistry club, assisting peer students in terms of learning chemistry. He likes to watch and contemplate on political news around the globe. Outside of his studies, he is a passionate soccer fan and a table tennis fan. He wants to use his understanding of social issues to improve the living situation of people who are facing inequalities and difficulties in their lives.

...From Saratoga, CA, USA. Through photography, writing, and service, Thea is dedicated to bridging cultural divides and bringing global perspectives to her local community. She started the Chinese Cultural Connections Club (CCCC) at her school to explore the intersection between universally-focused journalism and cross-cultural collaboration. She also loves traveling, reading the news, and playing volleyball!
Erik Deng 邓卓远
...From Singapore. Erik loves sports, reading, science, and travelling. He is a member of the floorball team in school and has led multiple research papers on the feasibility of using sports apps to tackle obesity in teenagers, as well as a study on companion planting. He has also participated in class projects to help develop language apps for the elderly to learn English. He wants to learn more about economics in the future and also travel to more countries.

Ami likes the traditional cultures of China and Europe, and she aims to contribute to the cultural tolerances of various regions to help eliminate prejudices about different races and their cultures.She has learned many languages and has visited more than 40 countries to better understand their local customs. She also pays attention to all types of social problems and actively participates in cultural exchanges and activities organized by communities, schools and different organizations to eliminate social inequality, such as a charity gala organized by UNICEF to help children living in poverty-stricken areas.

...From Changchun, China. He is an avid language learner who also enjoys literature, philosophy, history, and swimming. His favorite English series is A Game of Thrones by George Martin.
One of his long-term goals is to free children from unnecessary school-related stress, and it goes hand-in-hand with his dream to be a competent father and citizen.

...From Suzhou, China. Becky loves playing chess, sailing, reading and hanging out with friends. She is currently involved in MUN, an orchestra, and an "All Students for Action Program" in school. She is interested in sociology and would like to bring about change in providing opportunities for equal education access.

Chloe Lin 林子琬
...From Singapore. Chloe is a Chinese girl who is currently studying at the United World College of South East Asia East Campus. She enjoys lots of sports, and she has won awards in snowboarding and sailing. She is also the Sustainable Enterprise Consultants in UWCE and helps people achieve the 17 goals of the UN. She is also the officer of a service called Smiles of China, which raises fund to help orphans and nannies in China. She is also one of the admissions facilitators to help UWCSEA interview and select new students.

...From Shanghai, China. Leqi likes listening to music and drawing. She also likes watching movies and reading mystery novels. In sports, she likes badminton and swimming. She is trying to learn Japanese and music production by herself. At school, she is in charge of a club that studies films and other works of art. In addition, she is interested in social problems and psychology.

Being one of the leaders of the media club enables her to indulge in her passion for photography. She once went to Japan for almost the entirety of summer vacation to learn about the local culture.
